easter celebration

After much anticipation on the kid's part, the biggest day of the weekend finally came. Sure weddings come and go, but the day that a magical little bunny hides eggs full of chocolate and jelly beans throughout your garden is truly a day to remember. Easter finally arrived and the easter bunny definitely delivered.

The yard was chock full of colorfully decorated eggs. The kids had a blast running around finding them all. The older kids were very good about sharing and making sure everyone had an equal opportunity (though Imogen did find it advantageous when Brooks or Archer missed a few chocolately specimens).

After laboriously counting and sorting their findings, we all went outside to enjoy the weather for a little longer before heading back to the 'burgh. It was really great to see the family and we surely hope it can happen more often in the near future.
