Peter's good friend from college, Sam, came out to stay with us in Lewes for a couple of nights. His son Theo just turned 4, and Theo and Imogen hit it off right away. They were like peas in a pod, and they went everywhere together. We even set up Imogen's car seat in Sam's car for the entire duration of their stay.
Each day we went to the beach in Cape Henlopen state park. It is on the ocean side and the waves are huge. Brooks barely wanted the water to touch his toes, while Imogen would run almost knee deep in the water. To cool off from a long day of playing, we are miniature ice cream cones. They were the perfect size for the kids.
The last evening Sam stayed, we went to Funland in Rehoboth. The kids had a blast. After all the fun, Theo asked Imogen if she would miss him. They discussed all the details of meeting in Lewes again next year, and how they could be like brother and sister. Those two were very cute!
