After leaving our favorite weekend lunch buffet, we happened upon an interesting art studio called Mad Science. Apparently this place offers free art activities for kids each weekend. Today they were making candles.
Basically you cut a wick and dip it in hot wax, and then quickly dip it in cool water to harden. You repeat this process, building up the wax in all sorts of shapes. They even had colored wax, which was just a crayon added to clear wax. Imogen found the whole thing fascinating!
