starting seeds

In our region, the last frost usually occurs around mid-May. That means we can start seeds indoors around the beginning of April.

I bought some seed starting supplies a while back in anticipation of this weekend, and they have been sitting around collecting dust. We finally had the chance to put it all together. We laid out a bunch of construction paper on the kitchen table and got to work. Imogen was a great help. She even planting some peas, which are a little more frost-resistant, directly into our raised bed.
