Imogen was very well behaved around the dolls. I think she could sense that they were fragile and very special. Though they were well within arms-reach, she rarely tried to touch them. She liked to look at them from a distance and smile at me.

hinamatsuri 2012
Here are some photos of our Hinamatsuri (Japanese Girl's Day) display this year. I displayed the dolls for the entire month of February and took them down promptly after March 3rd. As tradition states, if you leave them up too long, your daughter will not marry until late in life.
Imogen was very well behaved around the dolls. I think she could sense that they were fragile and very special. Though they were well within arms-reach, she rarely tried to touch them. She liked to look at them from a distance and smile at me.
